The two-day Dorper Sheep Society of Australia National show and sale at the Dubbo showgrounds drew a good crowd last week, with plenty of interstate and local support shown throughout the shed.
The show was held on Thursday and was judged by David Curtis, Bellevue Dorper stud, Millmerran, Queensland.
In the Dorper ring, interstate studs were the ones to beat, with Deepdale Dorpers, Merrinee, Victoria, on a winning streak.
Deepdale continued its success in the White Dorper classes, with Tullinga Dorpers, Condobolin, and Burrawang Dorpers, Ootha, also among the broadribbons.
The sale, held on Friday, offered White Dorper and Dorper rams and ewes and attracted both local and interstate buyers.
