A South African breed won the Supreme Sheep award at the Toowoomba Royal Show at a time when more producers in southern Queensland are turning to sheep, while an established Suffolk breeder picked up other awards and tributes.
Eisentrager Dorper and White Dorper stud principal Wendy Eisentrager, Warwick, won her first supreme sheep award at the Toowoomba Showgrounds on March 29 with a 14-month-old ewe bred by Base Camp White Dorpers at Jandowae.
