Jilakin Downs White Dorpers was founded in 2004, with the purchase of ewes from Kaya, Saxon Downs and Murion bloodlines.
Initially semen from Kaya was used, and stud rams have been purchased from Gossamer Down, Etiwanda and a ram is held in partnership with Edson Livestock.

These stock represent the major South African bloodlines and were selected for growth, shedding and trueness to type. Jilakin Downs is registered in South Africa and regularly uses the services of visiting inspectors. Lambplan is also used to continuously improve stock.

The stud is part of a large wheatbelt broadacre mixed farm and we use our rams in a primelamb enterprise.

Jilakin Downs has Rams, Ewes, semen and embryos for sale. Export can be arranged.
