Gossamer Down White Dorpers was founded in early 2001 with a cross section of South African genetics. In 2002 we purchased a flock of about 150 Coen de Beer sheep with the plan of breeding a consistent line of quality white dorpers that conform to the breed standard. To this end we have also joined the South African Dorper Sheep Society so we may take advantage of their expertise and engage their classers to obtain an unbiased and professional classification of our stock.
 

We are currently producing 400 to 450 full blood lambs per year.
