Axis White Dorper stud is based on embryos imported from South Africa in 1997 & 1998. The genetics were sourced from Hennie Jacobs, Peet Cilliers and Floors Brand studs. All donors selected were from registered stud stock bred by reputable and respected stud breeders.

We have continued intensive breeding programs by using traditional natural matings and embryo transfer with great success.

Our stud participates in the Ovine Johnes MAP program - MN3 status, Ovine Brucellosis accreditation program and our stud and commercial flocks are Lambplan scanned annually. We retain a high standard of health and quality within our stud which we believe is paramount for the future development of the breed in this country and for burgeoning overseas markets.
