Amarula Dorper Stud was established in 2000 with 7 Dorper ewes with a variety of bloodlines from Tien Jordaan, John Dell, Gideon Vivier and Cronje. By the end of 2008 we will have 1000 fullblood breeding Stud Dorper ewes and 1000 commercial Dorper crossbred ewes producing Prime lambs.

Amarula is committed to providing hard working, highly fertile, heavily muscled rams to the Stud and commercial sheep industry. We do this through a strict selection process where we identify superior sires and dams by using the South African Classing System, Lambplan (EBV's) and the ability of our sheep to handle the harsh, drought prone Australian environment.
