Pooncarie carcase Competition NSW

Mark Cullinan of Kelleen Station did well at the Pooncarie Fileld Days Carcase Competition taking out first place with a pen of 10 month old Dorper x F3, average weight 51kgs, Fat 4.0, EMD 33 and third place with a pen of 10 month old lambs, White ODrper x F3, Average weight 54kgs, Fat 5, EMD 35.
Second place was awarded to Jack Palmer with Kelleen blood lambs.

Aussie White Dorper ewe genetics win at Fienco Show BRAZIL

Grand Champion White Dorper ewe.
This ewe was the product of an embryo exported from Australia to Brazil.
Both sire and dam were from Kaya White Dorper Stud at Narrogin in WA.
Congratulations to all.

National Auction Held at Bloemfontein in South Africa

Took place on 5th March 2009
RESULTS -:

Total Revenue: R 917 950 = AUD $ 144,721.31

· Highest Price for a ewe: R 5 000 = AUD $ 788.80

· Highest price for a ram: R 30 000 = AUD $ 4,733.59

· Average Price: R 5 208 = AUD $ 821.82

· Highest price for a stud ram: R 29 000 = AUD $ 4563.22

· Highest price for a T5 ram: R 29 000 = AUD $ 4563.22

· Seller of the most expensive ram: Ben van der Westhuizen Adelaide OKP

· 132 rams were presented.

· 6 rams were not sold.

· All ewes were sold.
